About Me

With charms now appearing throughout a number of big Highstreet chains across the UK, celebrities such as Agyness Deyn adding charm bracelets to their jewellery arsenal and Cancer Research UK releasing a “Celebrity Charm Bracelet” with charm ideas flung in from other celebrities such as Sienna Miller, one thing is for certain: the Charm Bracelet is back; and its back with a vengeance.

While charm bracelets have always been popular gifts, especially for christenings, and all those usual big birthdays 16, 18, 21 and any and all in between that people seem to cash in on, charm bracelets are fast becoming a fashion essential across the UK.  Charm bracelets are a versatile, fun, bold and often noisy accessory to compliment any outfit.  Styles can vary wildly from home-made acrylic and glass bead charms, strung together on hemp, or wire, to clunking stones and gems, not to forget silver and the more traditional gold charm bracelets.

With charm bracelets, jewellery is no longer about the whole, but rather the sum of its parts.  Whilst your jewellery might express what kind of person you are, chram bracelets have become a truly multifaceted way to express all the different aspects of your personality!  How else can you express a love for giraffes, ice cream and star gazing all on one accessory?  The point is, they’re great fun, you can change them, or most of them, with relative ease, you can make them from scratch for almost nothing, or you can go all out and buy in designer charms and charm bracelets for eye-wateringly large sums.

It is my intention through this blog and review site to help discover everything there is to about charms and charm bracelets, where to get hold of beads, how to build them, the dos and don’ts, review websites and shops, discover the history of charm bracelets and even ponder their future…
